Executive Director
Piffaro is seeking a new Executive Director. World-renowned for its highly polished and
creative performances of Early Music, Piffaro offers a full season of concerts both in
the US and abroad in a variety of public and private venues. The ensemble is also active
in education and workshops, as collaborators in the research and making of historically
based instruments and programs, and as experts in Renaissance performance practice.
The Executive Director is a full time, salaried position, reporting directly to the board of
directors.
Responsibilities include:
Financial management
Strategic planning and implementation
Budget preparation and monitoring
Fund raising
Marketing
Grant applications
Personnel management.
Skills and Attributes:
Strong organizational and communication skills
Exceptional multi-tasker; ability to work independently
Excellent analytical skills and independent decision making
Ability to prioritize and deliver on deadline
Previous grant writing experience
Basic marketing and fundraising skills
Although not required, familiarity with Patron Manager is a plus
