Piffaro Protégés identifies and mentors new talent and thought leaders in the field, as well as celebrates the dedicated beginner and burgeoning amateur. Every three month, Piffaro features a protégé profile in which the recipient, whether expert or beginner, will tell about his/her studies, research, performances and love of this fantastic music. Are you a protégé or do you know one? Every 2 years, school-age students across the nation prepare their pipes! The finalists compete in Philadelphia. Join us in January 2013 to hear these young virtuosi compete and in the winner’s concert. Should you or someone you know compete? Let us know.
